Sports at St. Anne’s

Our super Hockey Team embraced the cold and played their hearts out in five matches at the Tameside Catholic Schools Tournament. They worked together and demonstrated all the hockey skills they have learnt during their P.E lessons this term!

Our very own Lionesses reached the final in the Tameside Girls’ Football Tournament and received medals for second place. They showed great team spirit and resilience, we are so proud of you!

Year Six learnt the important skills of hand-eye coordination, ball control and speed during their hockey lesson today!

Well done to our wonderful Tag Rugby Team! We had a great time competing in the Tameside Catholic Schools Rugby Tournament and finished with big smiles on our faces!

Our determined Tag Rugby Team are practising their skills before the Catholic Schools Tournament tomorrow at St Christopher’s. We can’t wait! 

Our super netball team enjoyed a competitive match in the sunshine yesterday after school and displayed excellent attacking and defending skills.

Well done to our wonderful cross-country runners who took part in the Tameside Catholic Schools Competition! An extra special congratulations to Patrick in Year 6 who came 1st!

Year 3 footballers enjoyed a trip to Cliff Training Ground today for a football competition finishing in 2nd place overall. Well done boys!

Our wonderful JPLAs doing their weekly training with Mr Fogel! They then interact with our children in EYFS during lunchtime leading activities and games!

Year Four have been practising their superb gymnastic skills and have shown excellent balance, control, travel and discipline!
